In this project, I conducted a comprehensive UX research process from start to finish using the double-diamond methodology. I interviewed over 150 ChatGPT users during the research phase, gathering valuable insights and information. Based on a well-defined research plan, I explored and solved various problems and issues related to the ChatGPT experience.

The qualitative and quantitative research findings from the exploration phase revealed that users struggle with crafting effective prompts for ChatGPT, need the ability to edit previous messages and require access to previous chat histories for new conversations. With these key insights, I created a user persona and an empathy map to personify and deeply understand the challenges faced by users.

Through a co-creation process with users, I harnessed their creativity and adapted their ideas to develop optimal solutions for enhancing the ChatGPT UX. After completing all stages of the research process, I implemented the curated solutions and evaluated their effectiveness through usability testing with ChatGPT users.

The results were surprising and excellent, with the new integrations proving highly intuitive and easy to use, significantly improving the overall user experience.
